Pam Castañon's misused of authority, an act of harassment,discrimination and intimidation

Again today Pam Castanon (the shift supervisor) try to accuse me for not doing my job accordingly. This is a false accusation on my part and she even threatening me by calling the security and forcibly send me home and suspend me indefinitely, this is an act of harassment, intimidation, discrimination. This is a violation of my human rights.

My job assignment on the mark up for today is one of the stackdown crew on A Press (Home Section). We were Ernie, Me and Eskinder and Abdul on the other side. Before the start of A Press we even clean up and throw all the "split" trash and set up and test run our back up press.

We have a good start that day and bundles are coming out from the press perfectly nice.

So, when the B press crew time to have a 10 minute break, Pam Castañon ( the shift supervisor) intsruct me to give some guys on B press a time out, which I did and didn't refuse. We were four John Weiner, Edgar Fernandez, Art Felton and me ( these guys are my witnesses that I do really help them stacking down the bundles while giving the other guys the ten minute break.) Originally they have a group for the roll-out break, again they are very inconsistent.

I only came back to my press (A Press) because our light is on and even Abdul called me and informed me that we are on. So, I called Art to replace me because I have to go back on A press because it will start anytime. I know this is the right thing to do! And this is my job assignment on the mark-up. (A Press)

So while me and Ernie are waiting for the papers on A press Pam approached me accusing for not following her instruction which is totally wrong because I did helped the guys on B Press I just come to A Press because our light is on which is my job assignment for that day. And try to tell me again"She is my BOSS" which is very inapproriate and accusing me for insubordination, which is false. And she even threatening me that she will call the security if I don't go home and leave the place. This is very inhuman, abuse of position, misused of authority and doesnt deserved her job as a supervisor/leader and no sense of good leadership.This is an act of discrimination, harassment and intimidation.

I really don't want to go home and leave my work that day because I'm not disobeying her for I am doing my job accordingly and I am not violating any company's policy, I followed her order and gave the B press on break. I just came back to A press because our light is on and will start anytime, which is my job assignment for that day and her accusation is totally wrong and even ask Art Felton to fill up my position for I am going to where my job assignment is.I know I don't have any negligence on my part. And I don't want to give my co-workers a hard time, especially the guys who are with me on A Press for we need four crew on this press.

Pam knows that B press has enough people, they were three and there is no working history in UT that they assigned five people on a single press, and if I go again on B press, the workforce will be unbalanced.
Instead of harassing me she should give me a good credit for my initiative and a good team player.

For A press needs four people. It is only right that I should go back to A press because our light is on and it will start anytime and we need four people to work on this press like the C press. Pam C. should know the meaning of a a good leadership and a good teamwork and should stop harassing the union-people. And don't let herself work 90% on the floor and loose her temper and blame us. This is very unhealthy and will affect
the morality of the workers.

I've been working here for almost 11 years and I don't have any written records about my work attitude, attendance and negligence on my job and problems towards my co-workers.

I only know that I just want my co-workers to realize that it is not enough work hard but they must also know their rights as a worker, and exercise the spirit of brotherhood.

On safety issues, I informed her about the shortage of a safe good-working forklift, skid-lift & jogging table especially on thursday, she answered me "That's how it is" "Every Thursday" and always tells me" She is the Boss!" which is very unprofessional and no respect on my part.

I must add also that she gave our paycheck two days late. Accordingto the company's policy paychecks are available 6PM Tuesday except when Monday is a holiday. She gave our paycheck only last friday, very inconsistent on company's policy.

She even giving us hardtime when using the bathroom.

Lastly bringing back Alex Alcarion on the floor is very unsafe to all my co-workers. After harassing (hitting)Cris Valse last two weeks ago and the decision of the management is totally against our right as worker and as a human being. Ernie Bayalan & me are the prime witness to this harassment incident.

Any form of harassment is against the law and against the company's policy and this act cannot be tolerated because it will endangered the safety of each and everyone of us on the floor everyday!

The bottom line is:

My Recommendation to solve this problem:
The management and his staff should concede and stop this dirty tricks and let the due process of law prevails. After all we are both trustees and partners to bring the best quality of our products to our customers everyday.
In conclusion "We are not colony of ants, you are dealing with human beings, who only wants their basic human rights, the right to have a union!"
